Tara is a humanistic psychotherapist who holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College/Middlesex University. She is a fully qualified therapist and a registered member of both the IACP and AAPCI.
Rooted in a humanistic philosophy, Tara’s approach is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. She works in a pluralistic way—drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Existential Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused approaches. At the heart of her work is a deep respect for each person’s unique experience and inner wisdom.
Informed by the orders of love, Tara pays close attention to how early relationships shape our emotional world and sense of self. This understanding supports her in offering a relational space where clients feel safe to explore their stories, vulnerabilities, and strengths.
Tara holds a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you are invited to feel truly seen and heard. She believes therapy is a collaborative journey—one where trust, authenticity, and presence allow real transformation to emerge.
With over 18 years of experience in client and community support, Tara also brings a strong interest and sensitivity in working with individuals from the neurodivergent community. She is currently pursuing advanced training in this area, including a Specialist Diploma in Neurodivergence Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy, and an MA in Child and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy.
Tara works with adolescents 13+ and adults.
