Charlotte Slocum – Trainee Counsellor

Charlotte is a trainee counsellor in her final year of a BSc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She works integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, Humanistic and Gestalt perspectives, mindfulness- based practices and solution-focused techniques. She believes that no singular approach fits all, and works collaboratively with each client to find a way of working that honours each person’s unique story.

Alongside her therapeutic training, she works at the clinic reception, which has given her a valuable understanding of the client journey from first contact through to the therapy room. She places great value on relational work and strives to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe enough to explore their experiences openly. Her aim is to support clients in reconnecting with their inner resources, resilience and sense of self.

As a trainee counsellor sessions with Charlotte are charged at a reduced rate of €30/session.
