My therapy sessions have really improved my life giving me the tools to cope with past and current difficulties. I am learning how to change my viewpoint on life and to no longer let my past control my future”

“I would highly recommend The Hazelton Clinic because staff are very welcoming and understanding and understand how difficult the first day starting counselling can be for a client. They are welcoming and non-judgmental – see the person not the issue/problem. Other clients are never discussed in the office. The counsellor g I am attending has genuine interest in her clients. She is patient, very knowledgeable about her profession. She is understanding while also understands how to put responsibility on the client which is very important in ensuring the client makes progress in ensuring the client makes progress and has input in changing their own lives”

“I was nervous & apprehensive before attending counselling. I was afraid to speak out and share my problems for fear of being judged. The moment I opened the door to The Hazelton Clinic it just seemed like a safe inviting place. I have been a patient for quite a bit of time and the staff seem to know when you need to be left alone or want a chat or drink while waiting. My counsellor helped me identify what may to others seem small but to me have been obstacles I was unable to overcome without help. I would highly recommend The Hazelton Clinic to anybody who thinks they may need a helping friendly hand”.

I wanted to write to express my thanks and appreciation to the staff of The Hazelton Clinic and in particular Matthew, for the help he has provided me in overcoming my anxiety and self-esteem challenges. Matthew shared with me a number of techniques that have helped me through difficult times and have also enabled me to enjoy the good times. I have made several positive changes in my life since attending The Hazelton Clinic. My self esteem and anxiety levels have improved and I feel more confident and now have the courage to take on any challenge that comes my way. Matthew, you are a wonderful therapist, thank you so much”.

“I firstly attended this clinic in 2015 suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety and also anorexia. I attended a counsellor here Bridget who I found very helpful and non-judgemental. I was listened to and she also liaised with my GP to make sure I had the best care for my illness. 2017- I still attend this clinic and find it very helpful for me to move forward in the right direction.I also attend Dr Brid Corkery Consultant Psychiatrist who I also found very helpful and had a very clear understanding of my illness. With her help I have now returned to work and I am now starting to live my life again the best way possible.
I highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a mental health illness or for someone just to talk to. I am very grateful for the help of this clinic helping me through a very difficult time in my life”.

The Staff of The Hazelton Clinic have been of great help. The counselling service provided has greatly improved my outlook & aided me in getting things back on track. All staff from counsellors to adminstration staff have been friendly, courteous & facilitating. The flexibility & opening hours have helped fit my counselling sessions in to my own life schedule with little disruption. Without the staff & service here I would be in a really worse place than I am now. I have found myself both mentally & physically vastly improved since my first session
